Francis BACON (1909-1992) and Michel LEIRIS (1901-1990) Miroir de la tauromachie, 1990 Paris, Daniel Lelong éditeur, Mourlot lithographe Portfolio containing four color lithographs by Francis Bacon, Triptyque de la tauromachie and Portrait de Michel Leiris, all signed in pencil lower right, copy numbered 27 on the colophon from an edition at 150 copies on Arches vellum plus 5 hors commerce. Beige cloth slipcase printed with the title of the work in blue on the front cover and the names of the painter, writer and publisher on the spine. Very slight soiling to the cloth of the slipcase, inside perfect. Boards 48 x 35.7 cm Box 51.5 x 38.5 x 4 cm Provenance: acquired from the Artcurial gallery on November 13, 1996 (a copy of the original invoice may be given to the purchaser) and kept in the same library ever since.
