Prendoni" on the terrace H. 35 cm x terrace W. 30.5 x D. 19 cm A native of Milan, Attilio Prendoni joined the Scapiglia- tura literary and artistic movement that developed in northern Italy between 1860 and 1880. This movement was opposed to the bourgeoisie and adopted a "bohemian" lifestyle and way of thinking, like the Parisian artists described in Henri Murger's 1851 novel Scènes de la vie de bohème. In 1904, he took part in the ex-position Italian exhibition Earl's Court organized by the London Chamber of Commerce.
