HANGER in chased and gilded bronze in the form of a fluted column crowned with a cassolette. It is decorated with a laurel garland and a ribbon bow. Movement signed Hennequin in Paris. The whole resting on a white marble base. Bronze attributed to Osmond. Louis XVI period. 43,5 x 22 x 22 cm SIMILAR MODEL : Sale on May 27, 2011, Hôtel Drouot room 7, Mirabeau-Mercier, lot 133. Robert OSMOND (1711-1789) was a famous bronze worker who worked for the greatest watchmakers. Louis-Marie HENNEQUIN got married in 1791.
