Jean LETOURNEUR (1954) - Lot 181
Jean LETOURNEUR (1954) Apocalypse 1978 Charcoal and black stone Monogrammed and dated (lower right) : JL 78 107 x 74.5 cm This drawing pays tribute to one executed eleven years earlier by sculptor Jacques Zwobada: the creation is reproduced in Bernard Vasseur's Zwobada dessins (Éditions Cercle d'art, 2008, p. 198-199). Jacques Zwobada's mastery of drawing was a major source of inspiration for Jean Letourneur.
