The bronze edition of L'Attente comes from a cast of the Naxos marble, executed in direct carving by René Letourneur. The female figure in l'Attente, proudly seated, is similar to that in La chevelure II (see 2009 EX- POSITION, p. 134-135, no. 123-125, repr.).
