Pretty little flintlock handgun, forced-fire barrel, 10.5 mm caliber; case engraved with cherubs, one playing the trumpet, the other talking to a bird, it is signed: "Dumarest à Paris"; retractable trigger tail, rear safety hammer; walnut stock, handle carved with scales and inlaid with silver filigree, bone thumb piece, cap carved with foliage and adorned with an oval mother-of-pearl pastille; length 13 cm. Circa 1800/1810. Good condition.
