Southern Italian or Balkan trombone with thunderbolt barrel, engraved and decorated with brass inlays, then round and blunderbussed. L. 55.5 cm, inside diameter at tip 30 mm Engraved chenapan lock, decorated with figures and foliage, hammer fixing screw chased with the profile of a figure; cut and engraved brass fittings; walnut stock entirely inlaid in the spirit of tschinkes with bone motifs and mother-of-pearl plates; wooden ramrod with horn tip. The dog no longer grips, the walnut is damaged. Late 18th or early 19th century. Fairly good condition. Total length 80 cm
