Ernest Cardeilhac (1851-1904) Pair of Art Nouveau 1er titre 950‰ silver torches with floral motif representing a tulip, standing on a round foot with circular fillets and tiers. Traces of use and repairs. Hallmark of the workshop of Ernest Cardeilhac, active from 1885 to 1904. Signed. French work, circa 1900. H. 19 cm Weight 570 g The inspiration for these torches reflects the close collaboration between Ernest Cardeilhac and his artistic director Hughes-Paul-Lucien Bonvallet (1861-1919).
