Gilded bronze Buddha statuette, the deity seated in padmasana, on a double lotus-shaped base, hands in bhumisparça mudra, left palm and sole of foot marked, hair finely curled and tinted blue, and dressed in dhoti leaving the right shoulder bare. The base sealed (probably later), a prayer probably inside. Worn gilding. Sino-Tibetan work, Qing dynasty, 18th century. H. 16.7 cm
