Rudolf INDRUCH (1892-1927) Ukrainian wooden church, 1925 Watercolor on paper. Signed and dated lower right. 36 x 49 cm (Thumbtack holes, tiny tears and rubbing to edges). Rudolf Indruch was born in Lviv, a city he defended during the Polish-Ukrainian war and then against the Bolsheviks in 1920. He became an architectural engineer and designed the Defenders' Cemetery in Lviv, for which he was selected in 1921.
