In-12 paperback with half the uncut leaves in in-4 format, in green cover (in-12) untrimmed and lined with a filled white cover (in-4). Illustrated with 2 lithographs by Toyen, one in black, the other in mauve, both signed in stone with differences in the drawing, and a photograph by Elisa [Breton] showing Breton seated "Dans le parc du château de La Coste". First edition published in the "L'Âge d'or" collection edited by Henri Parisot. Edition of 2,250 copies, this one of the 250 head copies (not 350, printed by mistake) including the lithographs. Copy in perfect condition. Also included: André Breton, Essais et témoignages recueillis par Marc Eigeldinger... Neuchatel, A La Baconnière, 1949. In-8 paperback. Complete with 6 portraits of Breton: mounted photographs by L. Marcoussis and Max Ernst and drawings by Picasso, A. Masson, Man Ray, Diego Rivera.
