Light cavalry officer's saber, model 1822. Chased and gilded brass three-prong hilt, embossed pommel, blade signed Manufacture d'Armes de Châtellerault, September 7, 1879, iron scabbard with a single strap. Early Third Republic period. Fairly good condition.
