Officer's sword, brass keyboard guard, chased and gilded, decorated with two helmets and an eagle surrounded by two branches of laurel and a garland of oak leaves, pommel in the form of a stick ending in a Minerva head, spindle with two fluted mother-of-pearl plates; blade with triangular cross-section, blued and gilded in thirds with some oxidation; incomplete leather scabbard with gilded brass cap and later bolt; length 98.5 cm. Second Empire period. Good condition.
