Officer's sword, gilded brass keyboard guard decorated with the arms of France fluted around the edge, surmounted by a royal crown, all set on a glory, pommel in the form of a crook ending in a lion's head, spindle with two mother-of-pearl plates, one decorated on the front with an Egyptian motif;
blade with triangular cross-section, one-third blued and gilded; length 94.5 cm (without scabbard).
Restoration period. Very good condition.
