Officer's sword, chased and gilded brass guard, keyboard decorated with a trophy of arms and a lion's head on either side, pommel chased with a head of Minerva in profile, spindle with two fluted mother-of-pearl plates;
blade with triangular cross-section, engraved, traces of bluing and gilding; leather scabbard with two gilded brass fittings; length 91 cm. (Blade oxidized; slightly later bolt).
Restoration period, Louis-Philippe. Good condition.
