Court sword, hallmarked silver hilt decorated with oblique fluting and foliage, spindle entirely silver filigree; fine blade with triangular cross-section, engraved in thirds; length 95 cm. (Without scabbard; blade oxidized and misaligned). Late Louis XV period, 1771. Guard in good condition. POINÇONS: crowned "H", Maison commune de Paris, 1771; petite charge de Paris, 1768/1774.
