Officer's town or court sword, silver hilt chased with trophies of arms, copper filigree spindle; diamond-section blade with slightly concave faces, engraved one-third with foliage and a soldier, marked above: "Houssart" (?); length 93 cm (without scabbard). 18th century, probably late Louis XV, early Louis XVI. Good condition.
