Court sword, all-silver guard, hallmarked, with diamond-tipped decoration, chevrons on the fusee and medallions decorated with flowers; triangular blade, gilded and blued in thirds, marked on the large hollow side: "VIVE LE ROY"; length 101 cm. (Without scabbard; hallmark not legible). 18th century, circa 1780. Good condition.
