Court sword, all-silver guard, hallmarked, with diamond-tipped braid decoration, partly reperced, fusee corners adorned with a braid, plate decorated en suite; blade with lenticular section, then diamond-shaped with flattened edge, engraved one-third; length 92.5 cm. (Without scabbard). Circa 1783/1789. Good condition. POINÇONS: de la Maison commune de Paris: crowned "U", for the year 1783; double: interlaced "L", 1781/1789.
