Light cavalry officer's saber, single-branch silver-plated brass hilt, decorated with a cuirass and helmet, shuttle-shaped mounts, chased with a Gorgon's head, animal-head quillon, lion-head cap, ebony spindle, squared (split); one-panel curved blade, one-third blued and gilded; silver-plated brass scabbard with two bracelets, engraved with foliage, fleurons, oak branches and a crowned imperial eagle, engraved above with a fleuron, iron sting; length 99 cm. (Silvering previously redone). First Empire period, modified under the First Restoration. Good condition.
