Light cavalry senior officer's saber, three-prong chased and gilded brass hunter-style hilt decorated with laurel leaves, shuttle-shaped mounts, long-tailed cap chased with foliage and terminated by a lion's snout, monogrammed medallion on the side: "R C", leather-covered, watermarked fuse; curved, single-ended blade, gilded and blued on one half, decorated with trophies and a crowned eagle on one side, and a charging hussar on the other, with the motto: "Vivat Hussar", back marked: "Klingenthal" (rebleuie et redorée); patinated iron scabbard, with four chased and gilded brass fittings, the two bracelets in the shape of a spider's web; length 103 cm. First Empire period. Good condition.
