Officer's saber known as the "petit montmorency", brass openwork guard featuring a lion brandishing a club topped with a Phrygian cap, crushing a dragon with its hind legs, branch pierced with circles, openwork top decorated with rays, curious twisted spindle, probably made of dark red horn; 18th century straight sword blade, engraved with trophies in thirds; leather scabbard with two large trimmings; length 96 cm (later scabbard). Revolutionary period. Good condition.
