Officer's saber known as "petit montmorency", openwork guard in gilded brass, decorated with two hunting horns tied with a ribbon, long-tailed skullcap terminating in an empanached helmet, leather-covered fusée, filigree; blade slightly curved with a hollow front and lateral groove along the back, on the middle, blued and gilded in thirds, marked: "VIVE LA NATION" and "VIVE LE ROY"; length 100 cm. (Small accident to the guard; without scabbard). Constitutional period, 1790/1792. Good condition.
