Louis-Philippe model firefighter's helmet, brass Minerva bomb; elaborate crest terminating in a scroll of foliage, rooster plate marked: "SAPEURS-POMPIERS DE ST-SAUVEUR", mobile visor decorated with oak leaves and, in the middle, two crossed axes and a fire hose, above the burning barrels, brass chinstraps embossed with foliage, large worked bossettes, black horsehair chenille; without interior (one cap, not attached). It is presented with a red horsehair plume (lining of chinstraps missing; front end of bomb probably restored). Fairly good condition.
