Reconstruction of a Russian officer's shako (kiver), early 20th century guard model, blue-green cloth-covered shaft, red piping, gold braid at top and two silver buttons with imperial arms bearing two tassels and gold braid at back; silver star-shaped plate, center enameled with the imperial coat of arms with a motto, above which is a gold banner bearing an inscription, black leather visor edged with a gilded metal bead, gilded scale chinstraps; inside with serrated leather headband, red cloth cap and base with two stamp marks. (Wear and damage to the gold braid). 20th century Russian reconstruction. Very good condition.
