British helmet of the 6th Regiment of Dragoons of the Guard (1847/1866), gilded brass bomb; plate decorated with foliage, in the center a silver star with diamond points in the middle of which a monogram surrounded by the motto: "DRAGON GUARDS QUEENS", the whole surmounted by a crown, tip decorated with foliage; wolf-tooth leather interior. Presented with a white horsehair haarbusch of another model. Mid-19th century. Good condition.
