British mounted guard helmet, probably Royal Horse Guards, nickel silver bombe; gilded ornamentation, the plate adorned in the center with the collar of the Order of the Garter, with in the middle the inscription: "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" placed on a white metal star, red horsehair parade haarbusch. 20th century. Fairly good condition.
