Attributed to Samson WERTHEIMER (1811-1892) - Copper desk set, adorned with veined agate cabochons, consisting of a pencil holder, an inkwell and a document holder. Misses and accidents Samson Wertheimer, an art dealer in England at the end of the 19th century, created objects in bronze and hard stones (particularly cabochons) for the London World's Fair (1851 and 1862). He presented himself as a designer inspired by his trade in antiques. Acknowledged, he supplied the court of Queen Victoria.
