Pierre Le Faguays (1892-1962) Medieval archer Bronze with polychrome and chryselephantine patina Signed "Le Faguays" on the beige marble base H. 59.5 x W. 60 x D. 14 cm A student of James Vibert at the École des Beaux-Arts, Pierre Le Faguays began exhibiting at the Salon d'Automne in 1920. His Art Deco statuettes were published by Susse, Goldscheider, Neveux de J. Lehmann, Etling, Max le Verrier and Olliver. He was one of the exhibitors at the Goldscheider Pavilion in 1922. He usually signed his bronzes by name, but used pseudonyms to sign his works in other materials.
