Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (1881-1971) Nude dancer on a pointe Model created in 1941 Bronze with brown patina Signed "Ed. M. Sandoz". Bears the founder's stamp "E. ROBECCHI CIRE PERDUE H.37.5 cm, resting on a green marble base H. 5 cm Among Edouard Sandoz's repertoire of figurative sculptures, the theme of dance is a frequent one. There are two versions of this dancer on a point, one nude and the other wearing a leotard and tutu. The bronze edition of this model was entrusted to the rare foundryman E. Robecchi.
