IRAN, circa 1975 Large and fine NAIN Wool and silk. Wool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton foundations. Density approx. 7000 knots per dm2. Good condition. Beautiful graphics. Ruby-red field decorated with a mosaic of flowers formed by semis of diamond-shaped boxes and stylized diamonds in polychrome, adorned with a central cruciform ivory medallion formed by four cascades of diamonds in the shape of stylized weeping willows. Four spandrels decorated in the same way as the central medallion. Five borders, the main beige one decorated with a thousand stylized flowers in the form of stylized popped diamonds. 330 x 200 cm
