An Italian painter, illustrator and poster artist, he excelled in both Art Nouveau and Art Deco illustration. 10/ -Carmen followed by La course aux taureaux. Color compositions by Edouard Chimot. Paris, Deux-Rives, 1952. In-8, 164 pp. + [2] ff. with 15 color lithographs (including the cover); enclosed is a business card with a handwritten note from Edouard Chimot's widow.
