Fortuné Mollot (1824-1888) Rabbit Bronze with brown patina Signed "Mollot Bears the founder's mark "CH. LOUCHET H. 6 cm Fortuné Mollot became a paraplegic following an accident, and trained as a draughtsman in the studio of painter Pierre Bonirote and then painter and sculptor Jean-Baptiste Louis Guy in Lyon. In 1889, he moved to Canada and became involved in the artistic and charitable life of his hometown, Fannystelle.
