Georges-Lucien Guyot (1885-1973) Lion head Terracotta Signed "Guyot Marked "SUSSE FRES EDIT / PARIS" and circular stamp H. 24 cm Guyot was a leading figure in animal sculpture in the 1930s. Close to Pompon, he was part of the "Groupe des Douze" artistic movement, along with Jeanne Poupelet and Paul Jouve, among others.
