Officer's clock in silvered brass, rectangular in shape with a cage, standing on a curved base holding four Corinthian columns, the sides adorned with curved glass. White enamelled dial, on a silvered background decorated with foliage and wading birds, Roman numerals for the hours and red Arabic numerals for the minutes, iron track, fleurdelisé and straight hands. At 6 o'clock the alarm clock setting, Arabic numerals and simple hand. Ringing at the passage of the hours and half hours and on demand of the hours. Mechanical movement with key winding, in the state (seems to work, but needs revision), numbered 1487. Fitted with a hinged handle. Wear to the silvering. Dim. approx. 9 x 12 x 15 cm (19,80 cm with the handle raised).
