In-8, [4] uncounted ff. + 308 pp. with covers and spine preserved, untrimmed copy. Bound in half brown morocco with corners, spine with 5 bands, date stamped on the back, gilt lettering, marbled paper boards, backpapers and endpapers. Spine unstained. First edition. Copy printed especially for the author : " 1 ". Handwritten letter from the authors to François Montel, Versailles, January 1926. François Montel was a lawyer, bibliophile and literary correspondent for the Figaro from 1925 to 1936. - ROSTAND (Edmond). L'Aiglon. Drama in six acts, in verse, Paris, Fasquelle éditeurs, s.d. In-8, [7] ff + 262 pp + [2] ff, covers preserved. Bound in olive half-chagrin, spine with 4 nerves, gilt eaglet on the spine, gilt lettering, marbled paper boards, counterpanes and endpapers. Spine unstained and rubbed. The original edition was published by Charpentier et Fasquelle in 1900.
