VASE WITH DOUBLE PANELS in the shape of a drum. A feline is carved in front of the neck. The sides are decorated with an anthropozoomorphic face, painted in negative. Brown terracotta with red and black decoration painted in negative. Santa-Recuay culture, Intermediate period, Peru, 200 BC - 600 AD. Broken and glued back together with missing parts. H. 17 L. 10 Thickness 10,5 cm See Ref. ML 029695 of the Museo Larco for a similar vase. PROVENANCE: former collection of Mr. X, acquired in the 1970s.
