Desessartz, 1725. 5 vol. in folio bound in full contemporary calf, spine ribbed and decorated, title and greeves (red) - worn but solid bindings (headpieces awkwardly repaired, heavy spalling at the spines, 5 spines cracked...) - [9 ff.], CC, 675 pp. ; 676-1544 pp, LVI pp. (tables) ; CII, 819 pp. ; [1 f.], 839 pp. ; [1 f.], 944 pp. Complete with the allegorical frontispiece (drawn by Hallé, engraved by Simonneau), the large plan of Paris in 2 parts drawn by Coquart and Delahaye (partly colored, at the time), the 28 folding plates, 2 of which are colored at the time (from the crossroads of St Germain l'Auxerrois to the Conty hotel - view of Paris from the side of L'Isle Nôtre-Dame), the 8 single plates and the 5 vignettes. Plates after drawings by Chaufourier, Chevotet and Leblond, engraved by Aveline, Duperons, Hérisset, Lucas, Saury and Simonneau. Scattered foxing, but overall in good condition.
