In-12 bound in full contemporary calf, spine gilt, title gilt - snagged at the tail of the spine - Complete with the allegorical frontispiece and the folding map of Telemachus' travels. 2/ - De Lille, Jacques. - The Aeneid. Paris, Giguet et Michaud, 1804 (year XII). 4 vol. in-8 bound in full contemporary seeded calf, ornate smooth spines, author's (fawn) and title (black) pieces - 4 damaged headpieces, leather losses on 2 spines. Complete with the 4 frontispieces by Moreau le jeune engraved by Bacquoy, Thomas, Simonet and Delignon. 3/ - L'Arioste. - Roland furieux. Translation by the Count of Tressan. Paris, Pissot, 1780. 4 vol. in-12 bound in full contemporary calf with ornate smooth spines, title (red) and tome (green) - 3 headpieces damaged, small leather pierces on 3 plates. Also from the same translator by the same publisher, at the same date and in identical binding: Extrait de Roland l'amoureux de Matheo Maria Boyardo comte de Scandino - head cover faded, leather losses on the first board. 4/ - Le Sage. - Histoire de Gil Blas de Santillane; Amsterdam, La Compagnie, 1740. 4 vol. in-12 bound in full contemporary calf, spines decorated with nerves, title and greeves (red) - 6 headbands faded with loss of leather on 2 spines, corners and edges pierced. Complete with the 32 engravings. 5/ - Batteux. - Principles of literature / Treaty of the arrangement of words. Lyon, A. Leroy, 1802. 6 vol. in-12, bound in full contemporary calf, very ornate smooth spines, title (red) and tomaison (pale green), blued edges. 6/ - Lamoignon - Richer. - Recueil des arrêtés de M. le premier président de Lamoignon, avec les recherches et les réflexions des jurisconsultes qui, sur ses ordres, avoient préparé son travail. Paris, Nyon, 1783. In-4 bound in full contemporary calf, spine ribbed and decorated, title-piece - head cap faded, beginning of a split in the first jaw, stains on the second plate, small hole in the first. Complete with the frontispiece portrait of Lamoignon. 7/ - Le Ragois. Instruction on French and Roman history. Paris, J. Barbou, 1777. 2 volumes in-12 bound in one volume, in full contemporary calf, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt title - head cap damaged, tear in the spine, one corner pierced. 8/ - Fléchier. - Selected letters of Mr. Fléchier bishop of Nismes; with a relation of the fanatics of Vivarez; and reflections on the different characters of men... Lyon, Bruyset, 1735. 2 vol. in-12 bound in full contemporary calf, spines decorated with nerves, title and tomaison parts (red) - the headbands are damaged, 1 jaw split, small losses of leather on 3 plates. 9/ - Novum Jesu-Christi Testamentum, ad exemplar vaticanum accurate revisum. Paris, Barbou, 1767. In-12 bound in full contemporary calf, smooth spine decorated, title page (red), gilt edges. Complete with the folding map of the regions and places mentioned in the New Testament, established by Bonne.
