Sautelet et Cie, 1828; 2 volumes in-8, half calf leather, smooth spine, gilded title and tomaison - scattered freckles - [2 ff.], VIII, 405 pp. engraving of a gondola with 6 oarsmen, 1 table of the population movements in Rome (1800-1817); [2 ff.], 420 pp. 2 figures in-t and 1 engraving h-t. The journey of this voyage passes by the Borromean Islands, Milan, Padua, Venice, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Sicily, Sardinia, Genoa and Susa. The whole work is punctuated with comments on the customs and sometimes on the political life. Attached : Duclos, Charles; - Voyage en Italie, ou considérations sur l'Italie. Paris, Des Essarts, An V, 1797; In-8 bound in full calf with smooth spine decorated, green title - scattered foxing especially at the end of the volume, piercing on the second plate - [2 ff.], 235 pp. Duclos' trip to Italy is the consequence of his too strong support to la Chalotais in the affair between him and the Duc d'Aiguillon.
