In-4 bound in red half-maroquin with corners, vellum boards, spine with 2 large nerves underlined in black, author and title gilt, covers and spine preserved, gilt head, slipcase in form - some rare scattered foxing - 185 pp. Illustrated with 41 drawings by Le Breton woodcut and rendered in blue monochrome including 1 frontispiece, 1 title vignette and 39 in-t. Edition at 437 copies, this one of the 6 on China accompanied by a double suite, one in black on China, the other in blue monochrome on imperial Japan, all the plates of the suites signed in pencil by the artist (copy "C"). Paris, Gallimard, 1929. 4 ribbed spine, complete cover with its spine bound at the head of the book, folded in accordion (first and back insolated). Illustrated with 22 watercolors in-t on double page by Per Krohg. Edition at 650 copies, this one of 600 on Hollande (n° 496).
