Marguerite de Bayser-Gratry (1881-1975) Sole About 1950 Gilded bronze Signed " de Bayser ". Bears the founder's stamp " Susse Fres Edts Paris ". Dim : 19 x 42 cm on a black marble base from Belgium Marguerite de Bayser-Gartry studied sculpture with Charles Vital-Cornu. She exhibited at the Salon des artistes français, the Salon des Tuileries and the Salon d'Automne. She realized portraits as well as animal subjects of which several are preserved in the Antoine Vivenel museum in Compiègne.
