Pair of two-light candelabra in patinated and gilded bronze, decorated with putti holding two arms of light in the form of cornucopia. Base decorated with pearls and flutes. Louis XVI style, late 19th century. Formerly mounted with electricity. H. 36 cm The originals, circa 1780, are close to the works of Claude Michel dit Clodion and Louis Félix de La Rue. A similar pair is in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
