Jean LE GAC (1936) Yvonne SERRE-MAYER (1911-2003) Untitled, 1998 Acrylic and photographic collage. Signed, dated and dedicated to YO on the back. 160 x 100 cm (Small scratches) Yvonne SERRE-MAYER (1911-2003), Yo Savy or Yo Sermayer was born Yvonne Serre on February 6, 1911 in Paris. She learned to paint at the Grande Chaumière and then worked in André Lhote's studio in the 1930s. Her work is quite eclectic and can not be attached to any school. At the age of 55, the artist discovered that she was the natural daughter of Marcel Duchamp, whom she met at the age of 79!
