Georges-Lucien Guyot (1885-1973) Bear Bronze with brown patina Signed " guyot ". H. 17 cm Guyot is a figure of the animal sculpture of the thirties. Close to Pompon, he was part of the artistic movement of the Group of Twelve with, among others, Jeanne Poupelet and Paul Jouve. Until the end of his life he worked in Picasso's studio at the Bateau-Lavoir. It is probably a print from the Canal foundry, which was active in Paris between 1914 and 1973 and worked with Giacometti and Lambert-Rucki, among others.
