D. 15,3 cm In a wooden frame D. 24 cm This charming profile of a woman is the work of Georges Jacquot, student of François Jospeh Bosio. He won the first grand prize for sculpture in 1820 and exhibited at the Salon from 1817 to 1859. Among his major works, he participated in the sculpted decoration of the Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile and the New Louvre.
