Attributed to Clément JAYET (1731-1804) Portrait of a man Bust in terracotta. H. 56 cm including pedestal H. 13 cm Our bust is to be compared with the work of Clément Jayet, admitted in 1754 to the Academy of Saint-Luc before leaving to settle in Lyon in 1758. He painted many beautiful portraits of the nobility and the artistic milieu of Lyon in the second third of the 18th century.
