Raoul LAMOURDEDIEU (1877-1953) Female Nude Circa 1930. Bronze with dark brown patina. Signed Raoul Lamourdedieu on the base. Bears the mark of the founder Alexis Rudier / Fondeur Paris. H.93 cm In 1897, Raoul Lamourdedieu joined the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris in Alexandre Falguière's workshop. The work of the Bordeaux sculptor and medallist was initially influenced by the sculptural work of Auguste Rodin. Here we notice the attitude taken from the Man walking on a column by the master of Meudon.
