Sacha GUITRY. - THREE FRAMED DOCUMENTS. 1/ - Handwritten letter on letterhead of the Eden-Grand Hotel in Cap d'Ail - 4 sheets framed under glass, front and back (Frame 30x 39,5 cm Document 17,5 x 27,1 cm). Letter from Sacha to his father. [C. 1920]. Letter to 'my dear big daddy' in which concerns linked to their activities are discussed: 'the Lyon performances in your mind must undoubtedly precede those in Brussels' 'Béranger was a very great effort for me...interrupted by the affair at the Vaudeville [and] at the Porte St Martin' 'I saw Sandberg yesterday... I told him that I had come to an agreement with Hertz" "What you tell me about my little theatre is perfectly true...Albert Clémenceau told me the same thing" "I continue to be so happy with the success of Pasteur" "I do not frankly see the necessity of interrupting Pasteur's career until you have expressed a desire to rest" . He received a letter from a doctor of the St Louis Hospital communicating to him an apostrophe of Pasteur's "Do you believe, by any chance, Mr Pidoux, that you are free to believe or not to believe something that is demonstrated to you! It is superb. He mentions Albin Valabregue for an article in the courrier de Lausanne and E. Bergerat in the Figaro about Pasteur. Following "Béranger" "How many times our two names have been in proximity since 21/01! What a unique joy! I savour it while working, and the room for both of us is slowly crystallising" "Yvonne shares all my feelings...she embraces Jeanne, me too. And I am yours with all my heart. Sacha". The reunion between Sacha and Lucien takes place in 1918. "Pasteur" was performed for the first time at the Vaudeville Theatre on 23 January 1919. Sacha and Yvonne Printemps got married on 10/04/1919. Béranger" premiered at the Porte-Saint-Martin theatre on 21/01/1920. 2/ -. Autograph invitation [5/07/1939]. 3 sheets glued together forming a document of 46,7 x 27 cm in a golden frame (57 x 37,5 cm). The upper part bears an original drawing by Sacha representing the façade of the château de Ternay. The rest of the document signed Sacha Guitry is an invitation, written in 17 free verses, for the house-warming party at the château de Ternay on 5 July [following his marriage to Geneviève de Séréville [on 4/071939 ], On the reverse side is pasted the facsimile print of this document engraved by Stern in its original format (30.8 x 21 cm). In December 1937, Sacha Guitry acquired the "Château de Ternay" in Fontenay-le-Fleury, which was the site of his love affair with Geneviève de Séréville, before their marriage in Fontenay-le-Fleury on 4 and 5 July 1939. Sacha Guitry drew the house to make the vignette for his letterhead, which was produced in red, green and black by the engraver Stern. 3/ - Visiting card of Sacha Guitry under matting with this text "100 thousand thanks. Sacha Guitry" (Framed 19,4 x 22,2 cm Card, 6 x 8,5 cm).
