Nerciat, Andrea de - Icart - Félicia ou mes fredaines. Paris, Georges Guillot, 1947. 1 volume in-4. Bound in full dark green morocco, spine ribbed, decorated with a mosaic morocco pattern (white, havana, cream and red) representing a pair of legs sheathed in white stockings, shaped and edged slipcase, gilt headband, cover preserved (J.M.C. A masterpiece of erotic fiction, Félicia, first published in 1775, went through no less than 21 editions until the end of the 18th century and was constantly republished thereafter. Like the text, Louis Icart's engravings, free without excess, evoke rather than describe the antics of young Félicia.
